physical resources

Computing resources that you can literally pick up and play with.
Sometimes, the best way to get to grips with some concept is to get your hands dirty and get stuck in! Electronics, programming, robotics, all of these complement each other and help you learn one thing in the context of another. There are lots of physical computing resources - some cheap, some expensive. Pick your budget and crack on.

Other things you can buy

I am in now way endorsing any of these products so if you buy them and they aren't any use to you, do not come crying to my door blaming me, "you said this and you said that" style. I shan't be listening. Not my fault.
