pixel art

A short focussed project on pixel art

What is a Pixel?

A pixelPicture Element - the smallest part / single point in a bitmap image (short for "picture element") is the smallest controllable dot of color on a digital screen. Think of it like a tiny tile in a mosaic. A bitmap imageI have no idea what this means (like GIF, PNG, or JPG) is made up of a grid of these pixels. Each pixel has its own specific color and position. Pixel artI have no idea what this means is a type of bitmap image where the pixels are clearly visible and carefully placed to create the artwork.
