media (mime) types

Mediatypes (formally known as mimetypes) describe common resources available on networks.

There are plenty of lists of media/MIMEtypes on the web but I'm going to go for the definitive list from IANA - the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority - basically, the bosses.

MIME stands for "Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions".
